I'm so delighted to share that I recently held my very first art show. The studio where I rent space offered the opportunity and I took it! I only had about two weeks to prepare. It was a lot of work but a super fun experience - deciding what I would display, how it would be organized, and putting together the smaller details that would make it an enjoyable experience for attendees. Luckily, I had a lot of help! My friends and family really supported me through the process. I created advertising material to share just within my communities on social media and IRL.
The show was held over 2 days (July 1 & 2, 10am-4pm). I was so humbled by the number of friends, family, colleagues, and acquaintances who visited over the two days - more than 100 in all! I also loved that there were plenty of kids among the attendees as well.
I loved talking with each and every person who came through and share the love I feel for art and this medium. I can't wait to do it again! Here I've shared some photos from the art show.
