Badlands II is a second piece inspired by my vision of the Badlands National Park in South Dakota. I also challenged myself to create a piece in a landscape aspect. I love how it turned out. A fun fact about this piece is that it will appear in a feature film being made by a dear friend. In fact, I decided to recreate a version of Badlands at the director's request. I'm excited to see this piece on the big screen once the film gets released! The colors in this piece are Mars black, titanium white, yellow ochre, and (my favorite) antique gold.
